We are seeking experienced Racking Installation Technicians to support retail and commercial installation projects. This role requires hands-on experience with racking systems, safe use of power tools, the ability to travel to multiple job sites, and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork. 

 

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment. Successful technicians can follow instructions, communicate professionally, work well as part of a team, and complete installations with accuracy and care. 

Minimum Pay

USD $16.00/Hr.

Maximum Pay

USD $16.00/Hr.

What You'll Do

  • Install, assemble, adjust, and secure racking systems, including uprights, columns, beams, cantilever components, and related structural materials. 
  • Use hammer drills, impact drills, and other standard power tools safely and effectively during installation, assembly, and repair work. 
  • Follow project instructions, installation procedures, torque specifications, and safety requirements to ensure racking systems are properly installed and secured. 
  • Identify key racking components and explain proper installation methods when needed to support team coordination and project quality. 
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while supporting efficient completion of assigned project tasks. 

What You'll Bring

Experience and Education:

 

  • Previous experience installing or working with racking systems, including uprights, columns, beams, cantilever components, and related materials. 
  • Proficiency with hammer drills, impact drills, and standard power tools used for installation and repair work.
  • Prior experience working in big-box retail environments such as Lowe’s, The Home Depot, Floor & Décor, Menards, or similar large-format retail locations preferred 
  • Working knowledge of torque specifications and fastening requirements for racking systems, cantilever bases, columns, uprights, beams, and related components preferred.

Skills and Attributes:

 

  • Follow project instructions, installation procedures, torque specifications, and safety requirements to ensure racking systems are properly installed and secured. 
  • Identify key racking components and explain proper installation methods when needed to support team coordination and project quality. 
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while supporting efficient completion of assigned project tasks.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing 50 pounds or more while following proper safety practices. 
  • Reliable personal transportation to commute to assigned job sites and meet scheduled project start times. 
  • Ability to travel to multiple job sites or store locations throughout the week based on project needs, including frequent out-of-state travel and assignments across multiple state locations. 
  • Comfortable with shared lodging arrangements when traveling, including sharing a room with another technician when required.
