This is a 6-month role with the opportunity to extend, working out of the Merchandise Mart in Chicago 3 or more days per week.

Minimum Pay

USD $108,160.00/Yr.

Maximum Pay

USD $108,160.00/Yr.

What You'll Do

Accessibility & Compliance Coordination

  • Support ongoing accessibility remediation initiatives across global web properties
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors regarding accessibility gaps, remediation timelines, and testing
  • Help establish scalable processes for accessibility reviews, issue tracking, and remediation governance
  • Partner with internal teams (legal, security, analytics, and IT), vendors, and developers on WCAG-related issues by
    • tracking dependencies
    • identifying blockers
    • coordinating follow-ups
    • escalating risks when appropriate
  • Assist in the coordination of DPA/privacy/security reviews
  • Coordination related to third-party web vendors, including collaboration with legal, security, and analytics stakeholders on privacy, consent, and operational compliance
  • Help ensure alignment between global standards and regional implementation

Operational Governance

  • Create and maintain clear documentation, trackers, and operational workflows
  • Translate compliance or operational requirements into clear next steps for stakeholders
  • Help establish more repeatable and scalable processes for global web governance and compliance work
  • Support regional teams in understanding requirements and intake processes
  • Identify areas where fragmented or manual processes can be standardized

What You'll Bring

Experience and Education:

  • 7 + years of experience working on:
    • web accessibility (WCAG)
    • cookie/privacy compliance
    • related digital compliance initiatives
  • Familiarity with:
    • enterprise websites
    • ecommerce ecosystems
    • CMS-based websites
    • digital marketing / ecommerce operations
    • cross-functional teams, including developers and digital designers

 

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to independently manage follow-through across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working across technical and non-technical teams
  • Comfortable operating in environments with evolving processes and ambiguous ownership
  • Is proactive and able to adapt industry best practices to establish structure
