The BTL Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and managing below‑the‑line (BTL) marketing initiatives for the Motorola program within Canada. This role drives in‑market execution across retail, carrier, and field activations, ensuring flawless delivery of incentives, contests, demos, giveaways, and partnerships while managing budgets, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

 

This position requires you to work out of our Toronto office 2-3 days per week.

Minimum Pay

CAD $80,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Pay

CAD $80,000.00/Yr.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end‑to‑end execution of BTL marketing programs for Motorola Insiders, including activations, contests, incentives, and retail initiatives
  • Manage administrator responsibilities, including prize ordering and fulfillment, NPI support, training localization, demo mode localization, and Costco skid coordination
  • Own finance and budget management, including internal budget tracking and alignment with finance teams
  • Execute and support partnership initiatives, including TVCs, on‑site branding, banding, and activation execution
  • Oversee contest and promotional mechanics, including social, CRM, contests, GWP, and reward & recognition execution
  • Develop and execute carrier programs, including incentive creation, sourcing, T&Cs, fulfillment, and compliance
  • Manage GWP programs, including sourcing, logistics, fulfillment, and vendor coordination
  • Plan and support in‑market events, such as lunch/dinner launches, lobby activations, and retail launch moments
  • Coordinate closely with the field team, ensuring alignment, timelines, materials, and execution readiness
  • Act as the primary point of contact for cross‑functional teams, agencies, and vendors to ensure on‑time, on‑budget program delivery

What You'll Bring

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Channel Marketing
  • Proven experience managing promotions, incentives, contests, and retail programs
  • Experience working with field teams, carriers, and retail partners preferred
  • Wireless experience is required

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and fulfillment processes
  • Strong cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Detail‑oriented with a strong execution mindset
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments
